The Second Annual Colonial Cricket Tournament for Chatham County elementary students is on Thursday, February 9th at 9:30 a.m. at Shuman Elementary School at 415 Goebel Avenue in Savannah.  The public is invited to the tournament at no charge.

BLACK HERITAGE FESTIVAL

The 2012 Savannah Black Heritage Festival Grand Festival Day is on Saturday, February 11th from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Savannah Civic Center.  There are music and dance performances, a traveling museum exhibit, workshops on health, crafts, and culinary arts and more.  The festival is free and open to the public.

The Glynn County 4-H Advisory Council presents its Fourth Annual: “Salty Dog Sunday” on Sunday, February 12th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Club at Bennie’s Red Barn on Saint Simons Island.  The evening features the music of “The Three of Us.”
