A professional musician and songwriter, Harry O'Donoghue was born
in Drogheda, County Louth, Republic of Ireland. He was a founding member
of the folk group Terra Nova, and came to America in the early 1980s. Since
1988 Harry has recorded six solo albums and toured throughout the US and
Ireland, performing traditional and contemporary folk music, as well as
original songs. He makes his home in Savannah and performs frequently
at Kevin Barry's on River Street. Harry has been the host of the
Green Island radio show since its beginning in 1992.
